Olivia Newton-John is doing just fine. Don't take our word for it -- take hers.
In a brief video posted Wednesday evening to her Twitter, the singer and repeat cancer survivor debunks recent tabloid rumors that she supposedly has only "weeks to live."
Olivia, who turned 70 in September, certainly looks great in the video. "Happy new year, everyone!" the message begins. "This is Olivia Newton-John and I just wanna say that the rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated, to quote a very famous quote."
She goes on: "I'm doing great and I wanna wish all of you that happiest, healthiest 2019 that's possible and thank you all for your wonderful love and support -- for me, and for my Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness Center in Melbourne, Australia. Thank you so much. Happy new year!"
Olivia Newton-John's niece, Tottie Goldsmith, also just posted on Instagram about her aunt's health, writing, "Just giving you the heads up that Livvy is in good health, so let’s leave that distressing rumor where it belongs."
Olivia's rep also told ABC News that the reports were untrue.
Newton-John was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992. In 2013, she underwent treatment for a tumor and in 2017, another tumor was discovered. She's said that she's treating the cancer with a combination of traditional and natural therapies.
